The logo for (p)OLY Convenience Store involved 3 core principles: usability, psychology, and timelessness. Rather than weaving attitude or any specific aesthetics into the logo, the goal was to design something that transcended trends and stood timelessly.

Psychological principles were factored in, such as the choice of alignment and the decision to use rounded corners over sharp ones; down to the specific curvature which was inspired by the same continuity present in Apple's product design.
